Clinical-Stage Theranostics

NuView Life Sciences

Developing the first NV-VPAC1™ theranostic platform for breast cancer.

Initial clinical development is focused on triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC), an aggressive disease with limited targeted treatment options and significant unmet need.

NuView Life Sciences is a clinical-stage theranostics company advancing Targeted Copper Theranostics. Our mission is to change how cancer is diagnosed and treated — one receptor (VPAC1), two copper isotopes (Cu-64 to see the disease, Cu-67 to treat it) — advancing first into triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC), where the need is greatest.

Where today's targeted toolkit runs out

Triple-negative breast cancer is defined by what it lacks — no estrogen receptor, no progesterone receptor, no HER2 amplification — so the targeted therapies that transformed other breast cancers simply don't apply. VPAC1 is over-expressed on the cancer cell itself, independent of ER, PR and HER2 status.

~10–15%of all breast cancers are triple-negative — the subtype with the fewest targeted options
ER− PR− HER2−no receptor target for hormone- or HER2-directed therapy
97–99%sensitivity for breast cancer detection in peer-reviewed human imaging, reported by Dr. Mathew Thakur and colleagues at Thomas Jefferson University

What is VPAC1?

VPAC1 is a marker found on the surface of cancer cells. It shows up early — at the very start of cancer — and in high numbers, while staying low on healthy cells.

VPAC1 serves as a precise molecular target for cancer. Linked to the imaging isotope Copper-64 (Cu-64), it helps identify and visualize disease. Combined with the therapeutic isotope Copper-67 (Cu-67), it delivers targeted treatment to those same cells. One target. Two copper isotopes. A unified theranostic approach to detect and treat cancer.

  • Appears early — before many conventional markers
  • In high numbers — concentrated on the tumor surface
  • On the cancer cell itself — not an indirect signal
